About The Position

The Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) is a 36-bed ICU specializing in highly acute post-cardiac and advanced heart failure patients. Nurse techs are able to care for a wide range of patients and devices including heart/lung transplant patients, post-operative open-heart patients, and more. This unit is at the forefront of cardiac medicine, engaging in cutting-edge innovation and research. Butterworth Hospital is a nationally recognized hospital for patient quality and safety and the regional leader in full-service hospitals, serving the Grand Rapids area since 1873. It is the flagship hospital for Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Work Equivalent Required

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains confidential records, supplies and equipment per hospital and unit specific standards.
Greets and directs guests on the unit in a manner that reflects a welcoming environment.
Performs computer entry, schedules tests/procedures, processes orders, and performs other related activities per unit/hospital standard within a reasonable time frame.
