Overview 6 Henson Tower is a general medical/surgical unit that cares for patients within Endocrinology, Pulmonology, and Neurology/seizure patient specialties. It is a 25-bed unit. All patient rooms are private. The unit is shaped like a racetrack with three nurses’ stations. There is a medication room at each station, as well as two clean utility rooms, two nutrition rooms, and two soiled utility rooms. We have a playroom and a treatment room for patients to use as well. Patients range in age from neonates to 18 years. We occasionally treat young adults. The Unit Secretary acts as a receptionist and performs a variety of clerical functions. Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficiency of operations. Demonstrates commitment to maintaining and improving departmental/unit standards. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training
  • Work in healthcare preferred.
