Unit Secretary - NICU - Part-Time Evenings
About The Position
The Freeman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is the only unit of its kind in the four-state area, providing specialized care for premature and critically ill infants using state-of-the-art technology. This Level III, 24-bed unit is equipped to handle critically ill or premature babies and is staffed by board-certified neonatologists. The unit utilizes pod nursing for efficiency, patient supervision, and infection control. To support families, the NICU has an Angel Eye NICU Camera System, allowing parents to remotely view their child via a secure web-based live feed, easing the pain of separation.
Requirements
- Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the nurse, performs clerical and receptionist duties associated with unit operations.
