Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum one (1) year of recent experience as Unit Secretary in similar Emergency Department preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Basic computer knowledge, such as word processing, spreadsheet
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart Association
  • Current CPI card – Nonviolent Crises Intervention Training (must obtain within 90-day of hire/transfer)
