About The Position
Volare Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership and supervisory skills to serve as a Unit Manager at Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Roseburg, Oregon. The Unit Manager oversees the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit and provides clinical leadership to help ensure residents receive high-quality care. In collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, the role helps maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and standards.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Oregon.
- Knowledge of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care facilities.
- Previous experience in a hospital, skilled nursing or long-term care facility, rehabilitation center, or other healthcare setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and clinical skills.
- Passion for providing exceptional resident care and supporting the growth of clinical teams.
