About The Position

Provide and monitor continuity of inpatient unit services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of addictions treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field.
  • Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC),or licensed in Illinois as a LSW or LPC which supersedes the CADC within 2 years of employment in substance used disorder services.
  • Prior work experience in a residential behavioral health residential setting required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport,
  • Computer proficiency required,
  • At least one year of demonstrated supervisory experience,
  • CPR and First Aid training or complete within three months
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license
  • Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance

  • Licensed as LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
  • Supervise the assigned treatment team members, which includes assurance they receive orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required.
  • Prepare staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage of unit at all times.
  • Assume responsibility for the physical maintenance of the unit and request necessary repairs or services from leadership or Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Participate in the Performance Improvement and Utilization Review process and serve on committees as directed.
  • Monitor and ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations.
  • Consult with leadership to develop policies, goals, objectives and procedures for the Inpatient Unit.
  • Serve as a member of the Administrative Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  • Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  • Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  • Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
