About The Position
Atrium Centers is seeking a Unit Manager (LPN) in Marshall, Michigan. The mission is to serve as a bright light in the lives of residents and families by delivering compassionate, quality care in the communities they call home. This role involves planning, organizing, staffing, administering, and directing nursing services, assessing and providing direct care, administering medications, and supervising nursing assistants.
Requirements
- At least three (3) years of successful nursing experience in a long-term care environment; most of which should be in a management role.
- A passion for caring for and improving the lives of our residents
- Current RN License
- Ability to Administer Medication and IV certification
- Good Working knowledge of State Rules/Regulations
- Positive Can-Do Attitude and Excellent Attendance
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, staff, administer and direct a broad program of nursing services for all licensed units, under director of DON.
- Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care/related services for residents in accordance with their care plan
- Administer medications and complete treatments based on residents' needs
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants
