Requirements

• Current Georgia RN or LPN license in good standing
• Two or more years of nursing management experience
• Two or more years of experience in geriatric care
• Must incorporate all aspects of nursing in total resident care and in accordance to standards of care
• Be able to develop and implement systems to enable residents to meet their highest practicable level of functioning
• Must possess strong clinical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to perform all other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the day-to-day clinical operations and the nursing care that is delivered to the residents.
• Delegates the coordination and implementation of resident clinical services to appropriate staff.
• Follows established regulations mandated by the state, CMS, and policies/procedures established by the facility.
• Must be pleasant, respectful and courteous to resident, families, visitors and fellow employees at all times.
