Unit Coordinator - Geropsych - Full Time 8 Hour Day Shift (Union)(Fixed Term)
About The Position
The Unit Coordinator performs clinical and communication functions on assigned nursing unit. She/He provides courteous reception on the nursing unit and arranges and coordinates activities for patient care. Requirements
- High School or equivalent
- 1 year Experience as a Unit Clerk with computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word as well as Internet access and utilization.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Appropriate Telephone Skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
- AB508 (Management of Assaultive Behavior) - If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
