About The Position
The Unit Coordinator manages the clerical functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient care. The position also assists with patient monitoring as needed, including de-escalation and Mental Health Technician duties. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Brynn Marr Hospital provides psychiatric care to adults, adolescents, and children. Its evidence-based treatment programs address issues including grief, trauma, psychiatric disorders, and substance abuse.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license; licenses from other states are considered with an active, valid military ID.
- Motor vehicle history report covering the past three years must show fewer than six accumulated points.
- No DWI convictions within the past three years.
- No at-fault accidents within the past year.
- Meet the stated physical requirements, including the ability to perform physical restraints or holds and administer CPR.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience working with a psychiatric patient population.
- Previous secretarial experience.
