About The Position
The Unit Coordinator (UC) is an essential part of the team, contributing to our delivery of high quality patient care with a focus on the patient experience. The UC is responsible for transcribing orders, data entry, answering phones, ordering supplies and other related duties. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring excellent prioritization skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Typing/computer skills required
Nice To Haves
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- Previous medical transcription and office experience desired
- Epic experience desired
- Medical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Transcribing orders
- Data entry
- Answering phones
- Ordering supplies
- Patient access and registration data through EPIC
- Communicating practitioner schedules to their main offices
- Coordinating patient scheduling to meet departmental and patient needs
- Monitoring re-stocking of clerical supplies
