About The Position

This is a full-time Unit Coordinator II position within the GCMG Virtual Critical Care - Virtual Health department. The role involves managing databases, spreadsheets, and project documents, overseeing interdepartmental needs for scheduled cases, distributing daily surgical schedules, assisting with ongoing education, and serving as a resource and preceptor to new employees. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for 1 year of experience as a UCI or equivalent and 6 months of computer operation experience with data entry on a mainframe. A Notary is also required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year experience as a UCI or equivalent preferred.
6 months computer operation experience with data entry on a mainframe preferred.
Notary required.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a unit secretary or CNA in a hospital or ICU setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the maintenance of a variety of databases, spreadsheets, and project documents that Unit Coordinators utilize.
Oversees the Unit Coordinators, organization of interdepartmental needs of scheduled cases, i.e. room availability.
Distributes daily surgical schedule for distribution and/or viewing on computer monitor, by appropriate areas within the established time frame.
Assists with ongoing education and communicates changes.
Serves as a resource to others and as a preceptor to new employees.
