About The Position

Riverside Community Care is seeking an energetic, passionate, confident, and skilled Unit Coordinator/Generalist for Neponset River House, a Clubhouse International accredited facility. This role involves working in a unique, vibrant, fun, and challenging environment that makes a difference daily. The Unit Coordinator will engage Clubhouse members in the work of the Clubhouse, assisting them with employment, education, community resources, and finding their voice. This position requires flexibility to work one-on-one and in groups, motivating members in activities related to social and event planning, fundraising, health and wellness, food services, advocacy, and other manual and clerical tasks. The role emphasizes teaching, organizing, and planning to promote a healthier lifestyle for members through exercise opportunities and health and wellness educational forums.

Responsibilities

• Engaging Clubhouse members in the work of the Clubhouse.
• Working side-by-side with members to assist with navigating employment, education, community resources and finding a voice.
• Creating and organizing evening, weekend, holiday, and special events to connect with the community.
• Assisting members live a healthier lifestyle through organizing exercise opportunities and Health & Wellness educational forums.
• Promoting and offering a good health program to all members to live a healthier lifestyle.
• Assisting in other unit activities related to food services, advocacy activities, and other manual and clerical responsibilities.
