This role is responsible for processing orders and patient charges accurately and efficiently. The Unit Clerk CNA will answer telephones and call lights promptly, providing information or relaying messages. They will also direct visitors, maintain medical records, manage unit supplies (scanning, stocking, ordering, and disposing of expired items), and provide patient care as assigned according to standards of care and unit policies. The position involves documenting care provided, maintaining a clean work and patient environment, floating to various units as needed, and participating in performance improvement activities. Additional duties include verifying charge accuracy, facilitating a welcoming environment for visitors, and assembling patient folders and charts. The role also involves setting up Rauland responder/Vocera/versus for new staff.
