About The Position

Responsible for interviewing and registering surgical patients, verifying insurance, collecting required signatures and payments, and performing front desk duties including phones, data entry, and chart maintenance. Supports pre-op and waiting areas, assisting patients and families to ensure comfort and satisfaction while fostering teamwork, flexibility, and a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • Per Diem, Days 7a-7p
  • Surgical Services experience
  • Ability to interview and register patients
  • Ability to verify insurance
  • Ability to collect signatures and payments
  • Proficiency in front desk duties including phones, data entry, and chart maintenance
  • Ability to support pre-op and waiting areas
  • Ability to assist patients and families
  • Fostering teamwork, flexibility, and a positive patient experience
