About the Role As a Unit Aide / Assistant , you will provide vital non-clinical and supportive assistance across our nursing units. You will work with independence, flexibility, and good judgment to help maintain a safe, positive, and resident-centered environment. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in long-term care and take advantage of career growth pathways, including sign-on bonuses as you advance into a C.N.A. role.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Experience with, and a strong desire to care for people—especially those who are older and chronically ill.
  • Ability to work with independence, flexibility, and good judgment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to creating a safe environment and fostering positive customer relationships.
  • Ability to engage and embrace culture change.
  • Ability to communicate additional education or training needs timely to your supervisor.
  • Receiving excellent references.
  • Passing the Maine State Background Check.
  • COVID-19 vaccination (as required by the State of Maine).

Responsibilities
