As a Union - Truck Driver CDL you will deliver material to customers utilizing company-owned or leased trucks. You will also be responsible for preventive maintenance. Requirements

Satisfactory driving record.
Applicable truck driver license for state.
High school degree or equivalent preferred.
Valid Truck Driver license.
2 years required of truck driving experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
Vision - near, far, night.
Ability to detect or tell differences between sounds varying in pitch and loudness.
Ability to quickly respond (with hand, finger, foot) to signals (sound, light, picture) when it appears.

Responsibilities

Transporting cargo to and from specified destinations.
Preparing, receiving, and providing appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service.
Loading, securing, verifying, and unloading cargo.
Maintaining contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up.
Verifying contents of inventory loads with shipping papers.
Maintaining records in accordance with regulations.
Performing emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc.
Presenting bills and receipts and collecting payments for goods delivered or loaded.
