UNION SPOT LABORER - DAYS
About The Position
Columbus Distributing Company is a family-owned sales and service corporation distributing Anheuser-Busch, Yuengling, craft, and imported beers in Franklin County, Ohio. This is a full-time position for a Union Spot Laborer, working Monday-Thursday starting at 8:00 am, with weekly pay. The role involves ensuring product is picked and loaded according to code dates, loading beer delivery trucks, building pallets of beer, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse. The position also requires picking and pulling orders using an RF gun and handling products appropriately to avoid breakage, as well as loading delivery trucks in the correct sequence to avoid delays.
Requirements
- Lift 30 lbs. from overhead to floor and lift kegs (up to 165 lbs.).
- Be able to work full time.
- Have Warehouse experience -1 year.
- Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the product is picked and loaded according to code dates.
- Load beer delivery trucks.
- Build pallets of beer.
- Support cleanliness and organization of the work area and the surrounding warehouse.
- Pick and pull orders utilizing our technology with an RF gun.
- Handle products appropriately to avoid breakage.
- Load delivery trucks in the correct sequence to avoid delays in delivery routes.
