About The Position

Collide, part of the Propelis Group, provides brand activation solutions across print, promo, digital and fabrication, supporting large and small brands around the world from brand creation to implementation. We are hiring a Union Pressman in Cincinnati!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic skill with hand tools and a strong comfort level around heavy industrial machinery.
• Ability to stand for long shifts, bend, and lift heavy stock or equipment parts.
• Good color perception and focus to spot alignment or ink density errors early.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Set-up: Help mount printing plates, blankets, or cylinders and adjust press tolerances.
• Manage Materials: Load sheets into the press, and obtain, mix, or fill ink fountains.
• Monitor Quality: Pull proofs, check for ink coverage, alignment, and registration, and inspect ongoing print runs for defects.
• Perform Maintenance: Clean ink fountains, plates, and cylinders after jobs, and help lubricate or make minor repairs to machinery.
• Learn Operations: Study workstation controls, safety rules, and troubleshooting steps to advance toward a full press operator role.
