About The Position

Brayman Construction Corporation is seeking experienced Union Drill Rig Operators to join our growing foundation construction team. We are looking for skilled professionals with experience operating large diameter drilling equipment on complex geotechnical and heavy civil construction projects. This is a union position, and the successful candidate will become a member of the applicable Operating Engineers Local. The primary work location is based out of the Pittsburgh, PA area, with projects primarily located throughout PA/WV/OH/MD/DC/VA. Project assignments will be throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Requirements

Proven experience in large diameter drilling operations.
Ability to work safely in heavy civil construction environments.
Willingness to travel for project assignments throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Experience with one or more of the following: Drilled Shafts / Caissons, Predrilling for Piling, Secant and Tangent Pile Walls, Augercast Piles.
Experience operating any of the following drill rigs is highly preferred: CZM, Bauer, IMT.

Responsibilities

Safely operate large diameter drilling equipment on foundation construction projects.
Perform drilling operations in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Work closely with field crews to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
Maintain daily records of work performed and installed.
Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
