About The Position

The Uniformed Armed Associate helps maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors at a facility in Cordova, Tennessee. The role includes monitoring the premises, conducting indoor and outdoor patrols, enforcing safety protocols, and providing a visible deterrent to potential security threats. The associate assists and guides people on-site and uses communication and conflict-resolution skills when interacting with a diverse range of individuals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement.
• Valid Tennessee Armed Security Guard Registration Card.

Nice To Haves

• Basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular indoor and outdoor patrols to monitor for suspicious activity and safety hazards.
• Evict trespassers and violators and detain perpetrators in accordance with legal protocols until relevant authorities arrive.
• Assist employees and visitors by answering questions and providing directions.
• Control access to the facility, including the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles, according to protocols.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and report incidents or irregularities promptly using established reporting protocols and software.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
