Uniform Room Attendant
About The Position
Eldora is a winter mountain playground located near Nederland, Colorado, aiming to provide memorable outdoor adventures. Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 people during peak season and offers extensive terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park and a Nordic Center. This role is part of the 'Work Where You Play' initiative, offering significant perks and benefits. The Uniform Room Attendant is responsible for managing employee uniforms, including issuing, collecting, cleaning, organizing, and performing minor repairs. This role ensures all staff are properly outfitted, maintains inventory, and supports daily operations by providing excellent service and upholding the resort's professional image. The hours for this position will fluctuate based on Eldora's seasonal needs.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & data entry
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass background check that meet company standards.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift 35 pounds above head
- Ability to be standing, sitting or walking for up to eight hours
- Ability to bend and kneel for extended periods of time
- Working in various weather conditions, including high alpine conditions
Responsibilities
- Issue and collect uniforms for all resort employees in a timely and organized manner.
- Maintain accurate records of uniform inventory, distribution, and returns.
- Inspect uniforms for cleanliness, damage, or wear, and arrange for laundering, repairs, or replacements as needed.
- Perform basic repairs, such as patching minor tears with gortex patches.
- Organize and store uniforms by department, size, and type for easy access.
- Coordinate with laundry services or operate in-house laundry equipment as required.
- Ensure all uniforms meet resort standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
- Provide friendly, professional service to employees while assisting with uniform needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the uniform room and storage areas.
- Assist the HR team with daily functions, including answering phones, processing passes, using sales point products, greeting and directing employees, and data entry.
- Assist with special events such as HR Orientations, Employee parties, and recruiting events.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.
- Support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in the Sustainable Transportation Program.
