About The Position

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Unified Communications Administrator (Level 2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco Unified Communications Network-based Systems and a strong understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) VTC network requirements. This role requires a proactive approach to system design, development, and administration, with a focus on enhancing customer productivity and reducing costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Cisco Unified Communications Network-based Systems.
  • Candidates with 7+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of UC operations.
  • Must be physically able to lift 50lbs, crawl, and walk long distances.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
  • CASP+ CE Certified
  • CCNA Certified
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Must be comfortable in high visibility and customer-facing environments.
  • Responsible for the design, development, and administration of Unified Communications systems, including applications (Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity, Cisco Expressway) and their associated network hardware (Cisco Business Edition 7000 servers, Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Cisco Meeting Management (CMM) server, Cisco VQ Conference Manager (VQCM) server).
  • Ensure all devices interface properly with the network.
  • Develop plans for re-engineering and replace legacy systems to improve customer productivity, enhance maintainability, and reduce costs.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Administer and maintain Cisco Unified Communications systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Unified Communications solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Unified Communications systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Unified Communications applications and hardware.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in Unified Communications.
