Unified Commerce Operations – WMS Solution Architect (North Bergen, NJ) Serve as the subject matter expert for the WMS Application Suite, with a focus on Tapestry WMS – Manhattan Active, HighJump. Architect and document scalable solutions for new products, processes, and technologies. Collaborate with IT and operations teams to deploy and enhance WMS functionality in multi-facility DC environments. Develop technical implementation plans and timelines in alignment with engineering and enterprise standards. Communicate technical implementation plans and timelines in alignment with engineering and enterprise standards. Communicate technical needs and limitations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Perform impact analysis across enterprise and third-party systems; provide high-level cost and effort estimates. Enforce architectural principles and guide solution reviews to ensure technical integrity. Drive service improvements through proactive alerting, root cause analysis, and automation of manual/redundant activities. Validate performance of system changes, including deployments & upgrades, to ensure scalability and stability for any application. Improve end-to-end orders & inventory flow with regard to WMS focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing inventory management using SFCC, POS (APTOS), IBM OMS Sterling, SAP S4 HANA, BI, integrations (EDI, MFT, ESB, ETL). Support and lead E2E performance testing for holiday readiness, ensuring systems can handle peak loads and seasonal traffic with regards to WMS. Lead incident, problem, and service request management processes. Lead AI initiatives explicitly for WMS, IBM OMS Sterling & Integrations.

Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.or foreign equivalent; must have experience in the job offered or related position; must have experience with the following:
  • Requires 3 years of experience with the following skill set: Experience in WMS systems (JDA/RedPrairie/BlueYonder, Manhattan, Jasci)
  • Requires 2 years of experience with the following skill sets: Experience in ERPs (SAP S4 HANA OR ECHO)
  • Requires experience with the following skill sets Experience with omnichannel ecosystems and supply chain operations (e-commerce, 3PL)
  • Experience with SQL Server, ERP systems, parcel manifest systems (BluJay), and data analysis tools (Tableau, Visio, Excel)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
  • Requires the following certifications: Black Belt Six Sigma Certification EDI Professional Certification

Responsibilities
