Role Overview: The Unemployment Insurance (UI) Budget Analyst serves as a core member of the FP&A Division-a centralized strategic financial office designed to ensure agency-wide fiscal transparency, audit readiness, and forward-looking financial modeling. Under the leadership of Department Director, the analyst manages the financial lifecycle of the UI portfolio within DWD's broader $270M+ funding environment. The role emphasizes proactive financial stewardship, deep regulatory compliance, and strategic partnership with program areas to ensure the UI system operates with fiscal integrity and long-range stability.
