Requirements

5 years+ of aerospace insurance experience.
Advanced knowledge of the aviation insurance business, including product features, forms, regulatory environment, and risks.
Demonstrated excellent marketing, influencing, negotiating and communication skills.
Proven track record of developing more junior colleagues.
The ability to analyze financial statements.
Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Customer and sales orientated behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the underwriting the most complex risks
Delivers the value of the AIG brand to our valued broker partners and clients.
Demonstrates proven ability to develop and maintain exceptional working and production relationships.
Makes independent sales calls to market and cross-market products.
Manages an assigned portfolio of renewal business.
Assists in the establishment and refinement of underwriting workflow.
Coordinates work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements.
May monitor performance of staff members according to established monitoring standards.
Assists in the training and mentor/coaching of new staff.
Support management in maintaining high service standards and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted business operations to promote ease of trading and client satisfaction.
