About The Position

As an Underwriting Processing Associate in the Underwriting Department, you will be the key contact for Bordereaux entries and submissions for all of our In-House Insurance contracts and a key liaison with our Finance Division. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping transactions accurate and up to date, and enjoys working at the intersection of underwriting, finance, and insurer relationships.

Requirements

Requires at least 1-year experience in accounting field
Advanced Excel skills required and proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Work under pressure to deadlines
High degree of accuracy with a keen attention to detail
Self-motivated and proactive
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment
Pro-active and a self-starter

Nice To Haves

Insurance Experience a plus
Industry designation an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma – BCIT)
Must have good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Data Entry of bordereaux transactions from issued in-house insurance policies
Update bordereaux timely and provide Finance and Insurers with current account transactions
Review documents received from processing department
Review EPIC Binder Billing details to ensure accuracy; triage errors to the Commercial Lines CRS’s
Other duties as assigned
