About The Position

This internship provides a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced underwriting professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact our customers and communities. As an Underwriting Intern at Zurich, you will be an integral part of our Underwriting organization. Under the guidance of experienced underwriting professionals and mentors, you will contribute to real projects and tasks that support business growth, customer relationships, and risk management strategies.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business or related field
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and will be enrolled in the Fall of 2027
• Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior)
• Microsoft Office experience
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely

Responsibilities

• Learn underwriting fundamentals through mentorship and hands-on training
• Support business unit financial reporting and analysis
• Assist with preparing financial and operational reports using underwriting and business intelligence tools
• Support pipeline management and underwriting operations activities
• Participate in client, broker, and stakeholder meetings
• Review loss summaries and assist with account analysis
• Gain exposure to customer, broker, and partner relationships within the insurance industry
