  • Coordinate closely with underwriting teams, on-shore and off-shore support functions, and cross-functional partners including Products, Finance, and Claims
  • Support international placement needs for Regions outside North America requiring local coverage, as well as North America teams placing coverage internationally
  • Communicate professionally with Underwriters and Brokers via telephone, email, and in-person interactions, delivering consistently high-quality service
  • Conduct preliminary deal analysis and prepare account data for review by Underwriters and Client Managers
  • Review and interpret complex source documents from external customers, determining appropriate next steps and composing business correspondence as needed
  • Collaborate on the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, system improvements, and process change testing and piloting
  • Build subject matter expertise in International Business processes, tools, and systems — serving as a go-to resource and coach for colleagues
  • Generate and verify predefined business reports, maintaining a high level of competency across complex systems and workflows
  • Proactively problem-solve to meet and exceed client and broker expectations, while adhering to internal standards and controls
  • Identify and recommend process and system improvement opportunities, contributing to ongoing operational reviews and task analyses
  • Follow up with Underwriters and stakeholders on outstanding items and documentation to ensure timely resolution
  • Participate in meetings, seminars, and training programs to stay current with international regulations and continuously develop your skills
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned, supporting broader business and operational initiatives
