About The Position

Chubb is currently seeking a skilled Multi-Line Underwriter to join the Southeast Region Life Science team. As a Life Science Underwriter, you will manage a renewal book and generate new business. In this role, you will help drive profitable growth with assigned agents and brokers. Products include Package, Property, General Liability, Product Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Umbrella/Excess, and International. We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional with strong business and underwriting acumen.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience
• Experience in both Property and Casualty lines of business
• Proven marketing and negotiation skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Strong underwriting process knowledge and risk analysis skills
• Knowledge of technical issues, compliance, coverage, products, and pricing strategies.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with global programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a renewal book and generate new business.
• Drive profitable growth with assigned agents and brokers.
• Develop and negotiate pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions for new business and renewals.
• Identify account rounding opportunities across other Chubb practices.
• Implement and manage effective pricing and rate strategies that support profitability, book growth, and strong producer relationships.
• Identify growth opportunities within new and existing production sources.
• Effectively interact with clients at all levels.
• Collaborate with underwriters, claims, and loss control professionals.
