About The Position

Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a dedication to excellence. We are seeking an experienced, committed Financial Institutions (E&O) Production Underwriter. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving new business and/or renewals with strong working relationships with wholesale agents and brokers. The ideal candidate brings existing wholesale relationships to the table. This is a hybrid role (2 days in-office) based in Windsor, CT.
Requirements
- 3+ years of demonstrated financial institutions or related professional liability underwriting experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive goals.
- Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Existing wholesale relationships.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, underwrite, and negotiate coverage for new and renewal business accounts nationally.
- Initiate, develop and maintain strong working relationships with an agent / broker client base.
- Build and develop a book of business.
- Profitably underwrite a suite of professional liability products, including financial institutions lines with experience underwriting one or more of the following products: Financial Institutions, Professional Liability, Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices, Fiduciary & Bond.
