This hybrid role involves approximately 75% marketing and selling, and 25% underwriting. The position is responsible for driving revenue growth by connecting Retail Agents with national markets and delivering exceptional underwriting solutions through strong carrier relationships. The role requires prospecting and developing new business, marketing and selling wholesale insurance solutions, building strong relationships with Specialty Carriers, pre-qualifying submissions, analyzing submissions to determine the best carrier, coverage, forms, and premium, gathering information on client risks, and staying informed about industry and market trends. The role may also involve leading, training, and overseeing a support team, and traveling as needed to engage with clients and carriers.
