About The Position

The Undersea Sustainment Logistics and Configuration Management Specialist will assist with processing and managing various types of gear and consumables, handle general service requests, and manage material flow within a military or DoD setting. This role involves extensive use of government logistics systems for inventory management, data entry, and reconciliation. The specialist will also be responsible for reporting on activities and identifying potential issues.

Requirements

2 years’ experience applying inventory management practices and procedures in a military or DoD setting.
2 years’ experience providing logistics support to users of major government systems and/or logistics operations.
SECRET clearance required.

Responsibilities

Assist with processing and managing initial personnel gear, sustainment gear, and resolving Operational Consumables (OPCON) issues.
Assist in the processing of General Service Requests.
Assist with processing and managing incoming material, stowage, inventories, and daily reconciliation of material issue in DPAS, RSUPPLY, and SSAVIE.
Assist with warehouse management/receiving/stowage/receipt processing.
Assist with DPAS/RSUPPLY Management, including data entry, inventory management, and item research with each system.
Assist with identification of incoming material to verify appropriate recipient.
Assists with SSAVIE Management, including data entry, inventory management, and item research.
Assisting with receiving/shipping incoming/outgoing material.
Assist with processing and managing the return and disposal of personnel gear.
Provide a quarterly status report on actions taken, identify potential concerns and address any perceived shortfalls.
