About The Position

NORTH STAR PIPELINES, INC. is a local underground utility contractor specializing in wet piping installation. We've been locally owned and operated for over 35 years. We are seeking an experienced Underground Wet Utility Foreman to lead field crews in the installation of wet utility systems, including water, sewer, and storm drain. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of underground construction, safety practices, and project coordination.

Requirements

• Experience in underground wet utilities (water, sewer, storm drain)
• Proven experience as a foreman or crew lead
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Experience with trenching, shoring, and pipe installation
• Equipment operation (backhoes, excavators, loaders, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of crew
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and within project scope
• Enforce safety standards and company policies on-site
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Operate equipment as needed and assist crew when required
• Monitor materials, equipment, and labor usage
• Conduct site safety meetings and maintain daily reports
