About The Position

Allied Water Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking Underground Utility Laborer to support sewer, septic, water main, and underground utility installation and repair projects. The role involves physically demanding outdoor work and assisting experienced crew members with field tasks. The ideal candidate has hands-on labor experience and is willing to learn specialized skills in the underground utility industry. Experience in sewer, septic, or water infrastructure is a plus but is not required.

Requirements

• Previous labor, construction, landscaping, or other hands-on work experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

• Experience in sewer, septic, or water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sewer, septic, and water main installations, repairs, and replacements.
• Support excavation, trenching, and job-site preparation.
• Move, position, and connect pipes and other construction materials under the direction of experienced crew members.
• Assist with backfilling, grading, and site cleanup.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow instructions from crew leaders and experienced operators.
• Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements.
• Perform additional field duties as needed.
