About The Position

This role involves working as an Underground Miner on the 3rd shift. The primary responsibilities include adhering to safety and housekeeping standards in an industrial quarry/mine setting, operating various types of off-road heavy equipment for gypsum mining, and performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment. The position also requires recording production data, participating in safety and continuous improvement initiatives, and adapting to scheduling requirements such as shiftwork and overtime. Requirements

Able to operate assigned mobile equipment in a safe manner.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment.
Team player, good communication skills needed with all co-workers.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Must be able to pass ATF (Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms) Employee Possessor clearance.

Nice To Haves

Some prior experience operating off-road equipment is preferred.
CDL a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within an industrial quarry/mine setting.
Operate multiple pieces of off-road heavy equipment in the process of mining gypsum.
Basic troubleshooting/maintenance skills to facilitate equipment performance.
Recording of production data and other results in the manner required.
Take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.
