JDS Energy & Mining is seeking an experienced Underground Mine Geotechnical Engineer to support the development and operation of an underground mining project located in the interior of British Columbia. This is a project-based position operating on a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) rotational schedule, with full camp accommodations provided while on site. The successful candidate will provide technical support to underground operations, including ground control management, geotechnical monitoring, excavation stability assessments, and underground risk management. Working closely with mine engineers, geologists, surveyors, and operations personnel, this role is critical to ensuring safe underground development and production while maintaining compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
