About The Position
Iron Senergy is seeking an experienced Underground Mechanic for their longwall mining operation in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of the mining equipment. The position requires adherence to the highest operational standards, focusing on safety, quality, technology, innovation, and integrity.
Requirements
- Pennsylvania Experienced Miner Certificate or equivalent of 1 year underground experience to test for PA Certification.
- Current Federal Electrical Card.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work weekly rotating shifts (MAD).
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
- Ability to communicate with management and co-workers.
- Must be able to pass a background check, physical, drug screen, and functional work screening.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on underground mining equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Communicate effectively with management and co-workers regarding equipment status and maintenance needs.
