About The Position

Requirements
- Must be able to work long, flexible hours including weekends in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be detail-oriented
- Able to lift and carry heavy loads
- Able to identify materials, assist in load/unloading materials, and coordinate transportation of resources to different worksites
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a team play
- Willingness to travel to different locations and work in a variety of weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge of industry safety and health protocols
- Familiarity with hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, mixers, forklifts, and power washers
- Excellent physical dexterity and a keen eye for detail
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pipe (storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water lines, etc.)
- Maintain proper line and grade
- Coordinate bedding amounts and grade
- Actively look for spots that are off grade or soft
- Handle and transport materials and equipment
- Use power tools and machinery when needed
- Work to meet project completion timelines
- Clearing the worksites of any stones, debris, and equipment before and after work
- Ability to read and understand development plans
- Be familiar with and follow health and safety protocols
