Requirements
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record and experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Strong understanding of underground construction processes and safety standards.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations related to underground work sites.
- Reliable, punctual, with a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in utility installation or underground construction is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate underground construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with excavation, trenching, and installation of underground utilities such as water, sewer, or electrical lines.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites using your CDL vehicle.
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify hazards or maintenance needs.
- Support team members in setting up work zones, barricades, and safety signage to ensure a secure environment.
- Maintain clear documentation of daily activities, materials used, and safety checks for project records.
