Hudbay is a Canadian integrated mining company with operations, development properties and exploration activities across the Americas principally focused on the discovery, production and marketing of base and precious metals. Lalor Mine is a high-grade, producing underground mine located near Snow Lake, MB. It is a major, long-life operation primarily producing Zinc, Gold, Copper, Silver, with ore processed at the nearby Stall and New Britannia Mills. We are seeking Certified Industrial Mechanics/Millwrights for our Lalor Mine in Snow Lake, MB. The successful candidate will work on a 7on/7off (Thursdays-Wednesdays) schedule rotating nightshift/dayshift. Please not this is not a FIFO opportunity. Requirements
- Must be a Red Seal Certified Industrial Mechanic
- Underground experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- To plan, install, erect, move, rig, dismantle, inspect, overhaul, repair, modify and maintain all types of mechanical equipment
