About The Position

As a vital member of our underground utility crew, you'll be the boots on the ground ensuring rural Minnesota stays connected. Support the build by assisting with trenching, plowing, and installing fiber optic, electric, and gas lines. You will also be involved in ground operations, guiding backhoe and drill operators, preparing hand-holes, and handling site restoration. A "safety-first" mindset is crucial to protect yourself and your crew on every job site. This role offers the opportunity to learn the trade and master skills in utility locating, conduit installation, and heavy equipment support.

Requirements

Must be 18+ with a Valid driver's license
Reliability: You show up ready to work in varying weather and terrain
Physical stamina: Ability to work outdoors and perform manual labor (digging, lifting, spotting)
Team player: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a diverse crew
Ability to travel within the region for extended periods during the construction season

Nice To Haves

Experience in farming, landscaping, or outdoor labor
Already have a Class A CDL? Start at $28.49/hour!
Previous experience in utility construction or directional drilling
