About The Position

R.D. Graham Electric is hiring for a full-time underground electrical foreman. This position provides guidance, direction, and oversight to underground electric crews operating at job sites. The role involves leading crews in infrastructure and duct bank installs, planning safe work, coordinating and inspecting crew work, and ensuring project benchmarks are achieved. Requirements

Experience working in field installation and operations (3-5 years), primarily in the construction and service of the commercial electrical industry.
Experience with job site layout based upon plan takeoff and interpretation.
Experience with excavation operations and the various associated equipment.
Experience with trade inspections, dealing with various jurisdictions and inspectors.
Strong leadership, supervisory, communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Associated trade certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance, and repair of underground installation work.
Lead underground service crew to complete infrastructure and duct bank installs.
Supervise crew and demonstrate working knowledge of leadership and management skills.
Lead and train lower skilled employees in safe and productive work procedures.
Plan safe work based on a job print or work order.
Coordinate and inspect the work of crew members.
Conduct pre-job or tailgate briefings.
Ensure inspections status; scheduled and completed.
Troubleshoot problems on underground raceways and circuits.
Safely operate equipment.
Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
Ensure special equipment needs are requested.
Ensure project benchmarks are achieved, and job schedule is maintained.
Attend project meetings and communicate information to PM and job foreman.
Aid and oversee safety initiatives and ensure a safe work environment for all personnel.
Promote a team-oriented, positive work environment which promotes a culture of safety and open communication.
