Underground/Electrical Construction Technician

About The Position
We are seeking skilled construction crew members to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in underground excavation, concrete finish experience, and skills with operating a variety of different types of construction equipment such as trenchers, rammers, jack hammers, and basic hand tools.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Valid driver's license with clean DMV record.
- Knowledge of construction site operations.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with operating skid steers, mini excavators, and/or trenchers is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks such as excavating holes for light pole footings, trench paths for underground conduit, backfilling and compaction of or trenches.
- Installation of underground electrical conduit and wire systems.
- Installation of light poles, pathway and ground fixtures.
- Meter pedestal, circuit breaker and lighting control installations.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Follow project plans and supervisor instructions.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance as needed.
