About The Position

Arrow Construction, a full-service underground utilities construction company based in Sacramento, CA, is seeking an experienced Underground Civil Construction Foreman with electrical and gas experience. The company serves northern and central California and western Nevada, specializing in wet and dry utilities, directional drilling, potholing, patch paving, and concrete restoration. This role involves leading field crews in the installation of underground utility systems, including electrical conduit and gas mains, and overseeing daily jobsite operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive underground utility construction experience, and the ability to safely manage crews in a fast-paced construction environment.

Requirements

Experienced Underground Civil Construction Foreman
Electrical and gas experience
Strong leadership skills
Extensive underground utility construction experience
Ability to safely manage crews in a fast-paced construction environment
Clean Valid California Driver's License
Ability to pass a drug, Pre-Employment physical, and background test.

Responsibilities

Leading field crews in the installation of underground utility systems, including electrical conduit, gas mains, and related civil infrastructure.
Overseeing daily jobsite operations.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Reading and interpreting utility plans.
Coordinating equipment and materials.
Maintaining project schedules.
Managing crews to work productively.
Enforcing all safety regulations.
Preparing and maintaining accurate records (Timekeeping, PO receipts).
Communicating with management, customers, and vendors.
Understanding and following verbal and written instructions.
Problem-solving and strong organizational skills.
Ability to read plans & specs and work well under pressure.
Ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to established procedure.
