As the Non-Duke Student Undergraduate Research Assistant, you will join the Center for Child and Family Policy at the Sanford School of Public Policy to support interdisciplinary research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, youth mental health, education, and public policy. This role supports the Voices in the Code project, which centers youth as co-designers of AI mental health technologies and explores ethical, human-centered approaches to social-emotional learning. In this role, you will actively contribute to research, design, and evaluation efforts that elevate youth voices and inform innovative AI-supported mental health tools.
