About The Position

This posting is restricted to current UofA students only. This position has an end date of April 30, 2027. Location - This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton. The Faculty of Nursing is recruiting for undergraduate student proctors to assist instructors in administering exams in the Nursing Undergraduate program! Student proctors are responsible for ensuring the smooth and secure administration of exams in the Faculty of Nursing. This role involves monitoring students during exams, verifying their identity, enforcing exam rules, and ensuring a fair and safe testing environment. The proctor will assist in preparing the testing area, manage the distribution and collection of exam materials, and address any issues or concerns that arise during the exam. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with solid judgement and discretion. This opportunity is open to upper-level (Year 4+) undergraduate students at the University of Alberta. Hours for this position are intermittent in nature and availability is required during midterm and final exam periods. Successful candidates will be required to complete the University of Alberta Disclosure and Assessment of Conflicts of Interest and Conflicts of Commitment, in addition to a Confidentiality Agreement.

Requirements

Current UofA student
Upper-level (Year 4+) undergraduate student at the University of Alberta
Availability during midterm and final exam periods
Strong attention to detail
Professionalism
Ability to handle sensitive situations with solid judgement and discretion
Must complete the University of Alberta Disclosure and Assessment of Conflicts of Interest and Conflicts of Commitment
Must complete a Confidentiality Agreement
