About The Position

Precision Medicine, BioAnalytical, and Translational Sciences (PMBATS) has multiple internships for qualified candidates to work alongside PMBATS teams by contributing to development and execution of biomarker/BA process, laboratory experiments, enable our mission of providing technology solutions for BMS development assets. We have opportunities in: Translational Pathology and Immunohistochemistry (TP-IHC) team seeks a motivated, inquisitive intern to join a collaborative team translating tissue-based data into clinical insights that guide delivery of therapies to patients most likely to benefit. You will support biomarker discovery and translational research through assay development, image analysis, and supervised experimentation using cutting-edge technologies, while learning in a matrixed environment and presenting results to cross-functional stakeholders. Molecular Assay Development team seeks a highly motivated scientist to support the design, development, and validation of genetics/genomics biomarker workflows for clinical and translational sample analysis while applying strong lab practices and learning new methods. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to implement workflows, evaluate novel genomics technologies, and contribute to biomarker strategy discussions. The Clinical Flow Cytometry team seeks a summer intern to join an industry-leading team leveraging state-of-the-art cytometers and systems to develop, optimize, validate, and execute assays supporting new drug programs. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience operating modern instruments, analyzing data, and contributing to clinical biomarker studies that advance new medicines. The Imaging team seeks a summer intern to contribute to an independent project using cutting-edge medical imaging to deepen understanding of disease biology (oncology, immuno-sciences, cardiovascular, fibrosis) and medicine mechanisms, contributing to automated image segmentation and analysis workflows. You will gain hands-on image analysis experience and collaborate with preclinical and clinical imaging teams and a multidisciplinary group of engineers, chemists, biologists, and clinicians; enthusiasm for learning in a research setting is key, even with limited prior experience. The bioanalytical team seeks a motivated summer intern to work with using cutting edge high-resolution mass spectrometer to develop analytical methods to quantify drugs in biological matrices. You will gain hands-on experience at the interface of protein chemistry and analytical science with state-of-the-art HRMS and automation platforms, collaborate across disciplines, and communicate results in a high-impact research environment. The Protein, Bioanalytical, and Material Sciences team is seeking a summer intern to contribute to the design and execution of biomarker and pharmacokinetic ligand binding assay studies using cutting-edge technology to support drug development. The intern will gain hands-on experience in method development and exploration of novel technologies for neutralizing antibody cell assays and clinical biomarker ligand binding assays. The full-time internships will take place June - August 2026.
