About The Position

This recruitment will be used to fill 50 part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) for an ENG+ Undergraduate Learning Assistants (ULAs) at Oregon State University (OSU) in the College of Engineering (CoE). This application is one step in the application process, which also includes responding to a survey sent to engineering undergraduate students May 18, 2026, asking for information such as past experiences, interests, and availability. The Undergraduate Student Support Services Worker performs a variety of work related to the support and enhancement of the quality of student life at the university.

Requirements

  • Academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
  • Meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
  • Meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
  • High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
  • Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
  • Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term
  • Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
  • Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term
  • Engaging background
  • Student in good standing, including maintaining a strong academic integrity record within CoE
  • Successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified
  • Self-report convictions
  • OSU will conduct a review of the National Sex Offender Public website prior to hire.
