About The Position

Novo Holdings is seeking an Undergraduate Intern to support the Growth Investments team in its North American investment activities over the course of the summer and/or fall semester. Novo Holdings is a holding and investment company that is responsible for managing the assets of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, one of the world’s largest enterprise foundations. The purpose of Novo Holdings is to improve people’s health and the sustainability of society and the planet by generating attractive long-term returns on the assets of the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Wholly owned by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Novo Holdings is the controlling shareholder of Novo Nordisk and Novonesis (the Novo Group companies) and manages an investment portfolio with a long-term return perspective. As an intern, you will join Novo Holdings’ Growth Investments team in Boston and support the team in all aspects of its investment efforts. The San Francisco team focuses on investments in North American healthcare and life sciences businesses. This role will pay $26/hour.

Requirements

  • EECS major
  • Entering their junior or senior year of undergraduate education
  • Strong academic results
  • Interest in pursuing a career in financial services such as investment banking or private equity
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Demonstrated self-starter with a high level of integrity and accountability
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and detail orientation

Responsibilities

  • Performing market research on companies and industries to evaluate new sector opportunities
  • Applying AI agents to financial workflows
  • Conducting financial analysis to assess new deal opportunities and strategic initiatives at existing portfolio companies
  • Assisting in due diligence processes on new investment opportunities
  • Preparing investment committee materials and internal memoranda on potential and existing investments
  • Supporting management of team CRM systems and vendor platforms
